European Geodesy Forum 2021 – Registration

The UN-GGIM: Europe and the UN-GGIM Subcommittee on Geodesy are hosting the European Geodesy Forum, which will be convened virtually on 23 June 2021 at 10:00 AM CEST as a follow up of the Global Geodesy Forum held on Earth Day, 22 April 2021.

Titled “Towards a sustainable Global Geodetic Reference Frame: European Contribution”, and with a panel from UN-GGIM: Europe and members of the UN-GGIM Subcommittee on Geodesy, the main focus of the forum is to seek feedback from European Member States, as part of our regional consultation on the two papers prepared by the Subcommittee on Geodesy which will be finalized and tabled at the 11th Session of UN-GGIM:

.    Concept Paper on Establishing a Global Geodetic Centre of Excellence

The aim of the forum is to generate further support for the work of the Subcommittee on Geodesy and the forthcoming establishment of the UN Global Geodetic Centre of Excellence in Bonn, Germany.
