“Unleashing the Power of ‘Where’ to Make the World a Better Place: How Geographic Information Contributes to Achieving the SDGs” highlighting the vital role geospatial information has in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The event, co-organised by the Permanent Mission of Denmark to the United Nations, the UN-GGIM Secretariat, UN-GGIM: Europe, and the Group on Earth Observations (GEO), was held during the April Intergovernmental Negotiations on the Post-2015 Development Agenda at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
