UN-GGIM: Europe is a regional committee of the United Nations Initiative on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM). It was formally established on 1 October 2014 when the European UN Member States assumed full responsibility for its operations and adopted a work plan. An executive committee led by Bengt Kjellson from Sweden oversees its activities and reports regularly to the UN-GGIM global Committee of Experts.
