14th European Forum for Geography and Statistics Conference - Unlocking value from data

Mark your calendars: the 14th European Forum for Geography and Statistics Conference will be held on 07-08 September 2021 under the motto “Unlocking value from data“!

The conference will be organized jointly by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) and the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG) with support from EFGS and Eurostat.

Due to the uncertain situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic the EFGS conference will take place virtually.

The conference programme will consist of the invited keynote speakers’ and participants’ presentations based on abstract submissions. We are pleased to invite experts to submit abstracts for oral presentations following one of the conference themes:

• Institutional collaboration
• National laws and Policy

Participants, who wish to contribute with presentations are invited to send a short abstract according to the guidelines as soon as possible and no later than 15 June 2021 to efgs2021@destatis.de.
