Sixth Plenary Meeting of UN-GGIM: Europe
The Sixth Plenary Meeting of the European Region of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM: Europe) will be held from 5 – 6 June 2019 in Brussels, Belgium.
The meeting, which is being hosted by Eurostat, will take place at the Residence Palace, Rue Brussels, Belgium. The meeting will commence at 8:30 on Wednesday 5th June and end at 15:30 the following day. An official dinner is being hosted on the evening of the first day.
The Sixth Plenary Meeting of UN-GGIM: Europe will once again bring together senior executives from national geospatial information and statistical authorities within Member States and international geospatial experts from across the region. It will include a half day workshop on developing the Integrated Geospatial Information Framework Implementation Guide, and presentations on global and regional issues and items, together with an overview of the work being carried out by UN-GGIM: Europe.
